This looks good:
Everything Clint does is good in my book but this is looking exceptional from the trailer, at least. Special props to the people who put the trailer together and my buddy who wrote the script, he's been grinding away for a very long time to get here.

This should be an awesome movie. Eastwood should should do it up right; he always has. Congrats to your buddy for getting his big break.

I wish I was as hard-working as him.

I worked on it for awhile. I think it will be another hit for Eastwood, the man knows his way around a film (even when it has an orangutang in it).

Yes, I'm looking forward to this. Any insight whether it closely follows the book (I was a bit surprised and disappointed that the climax in Lone Survivor differed significantly from the actual events)?
Either way, I'm sure it will be top notch. Congrats to your friend! Last edited by Sarc; 10-03-2014 at 08:27 AM.. |

It is definitely adapted from the book but otherwise, I don't know. The writer was working closely with CK up until he was murdered and with his wife and friends since. The story of writing/researching the script is almost as interesting as the story itself.
