Not a Pelican that I know of, but someone I knew.
Dr. Robert Fain Jr, he and his dad were both team Dr.s for the Oilers when they were still in Houston. He operated on me twice, once for an ACL reconstruction and another for a meniscus. Nice guy, we talked Porsches whenever I was there. I know that car was a monster, sounds like it got away from him. Glad he did not suffer or hurt anyone else. RIP Doc. That is really sad......I drive that street a bit. At night there are many spots that are hard to see...
