Its funny if you are in the market for an e36 m3, it seems like the nice ones are auto and/or convertible, which of course no one really wants.
I like the cars a lot, another problem is e46 m3s are a bit more porky but they are plentiful, cheap, and much faster

A Pelican member in Nashville is driving down tomorrow to see the car. I have settled on $6500. It splits whippedpuppy's price guesstimate and is supposedly $800 above trade in value and below KBB private party. I want to price it fairly for both parties, because we all know these German cars always need attention. However, I feel the car is in very good cosmetic condition and hasn't been abused.

It looks waaaay better than average for that model and year. Someone on my street has the identical car, (color even), but it's in lousy condition and the owner is a schmuck. Yours looks great.

Update:
The M3 is staying in the Pelican family and will be receiving the TLC it deserves. Jürgen was a pleasure to deal with and a gentleman through and through. Departing Memphis Saturday morning. Just arrived safe and sound 48 hours later.
