997 Coupe, Cab or Targa??

In the market for a 2005-2010 997. Does anyone know which of the three variants has the most rear seat room for my 8 year old? Thanks!

The Cabriolet with the top down will have the most head room

I have a 2005 coupe and my (somewhat small for her age) 11 old fits back there no problem. Some of her friend are reaching the limit though. Not sure about the Targa, but I don't think the convertible back seats are usable for anyone except Oompa Loompas.

Head room won't be the issue. Leg room is the real limiter. My 10 year old is about maxed out in the back of a 997, and I believe the back seat is the same in all.

I'm not sure but I think the rear is smaller in the cabs vs the coupe. It appears more upright for some reason. No idea on the Targa.

Coupe or Targa.

Edit: ooops, I didn't read your question very carefully! Thought it was a thread about which one to get. However, after seeing them in a showroom, the rear cab seats look awkward (the seat backs seem to angle forward).

Had a 2007 997 Targa 4S. The rear seat seemed to be the same size as the coupe, and my son and his friends sat in the back until they were about 10, when they didn't fit behind me (I'm only 5'11). Very limited legroom, but otherwise space is fair and the seat recline normal. The funny thing is, my old 1987 Targa seemed to have just a bit MORE legroom in back when set up for me to drive - might have been the more upright seat, the lack of storage behind the seat, etc.

The cabs have rear seat cushions that are much more upright - too straight up for anyone to sit comfortably.
