Looking at Buying a Packard
I am thinking of buying an older Packard. 1937 115c Sedan. Anyone have experience with one of these? Are parts hard to come by? It is a hard classic to own?

Very easy to own and maintain, parts are readily available, even here in NJ. Here's a good place in Boonton. Packard Parts Many sources in Hemmings
The only downside is that the 115 is a six. If you're looking for a Packard a 120 with an eight is a better bet, for smooth power and the ability to keep up with highway traffic. My dad has had a 1941 120 convertible since 1969, and it's always been fun.

My brother went to school with Bob Mosier, seen here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h5NF8xzCo4 He's done numerous Packard restorations. I suggest you give him a call and talk to him re parts availability etc. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to talk with you. If you do call him, tell him the Douglas brothers say HI.

Thanks for your suggestions. Will be looking for a place to put it and perhaps take a test drive. If I cannot drive it on highways, it would be a non-starter.
