Whoops!

Apologies to Mrs. LWJ, I seem to have purchased a 930. 1978, 70K miles and MINTY.

Second Thursday of every month.... Be there or be square!

We could use a 930 to ogle;

Nice!

Do tell us more, what color is that? I love it!! The decals and color make it really unique.
That was a good whoops.

Bad ass the way Porsches were meant to be!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! :)

LWJ 10-21-2014 05:46 PM

Herr,
I have been in the past and have met you as well. I am just a poor attender.

Fred,
Cashmere Beige. The graphics were a huge attractor for me. The say "turbo" in relief on the rear flares. They are factory graphics. Otherwise they would be gone!

Thanks Baz! The boost is pretty cool. I need to learn to drive it, having spent all my P car time in an SC.

My black 76 had the same graphics, I agree, they are period correct, and awesome on a 930. The odd colors really work on these cars, that is fantastic. Love it, congratulations.

Nice! I like the subtle decals on the hips.

Wanna sell your SC? (wink, hint)

I remember!

Hey, we did a drive together, up on Skyline with Harry and Jim and the rest of the boys.

But you neeeeed to show that bad boy car off, so this should give you the impetus to drive over the West hills one more time for a cold one before the weather really starts to get Portlandy!

Looks like Cashmere Beige? Great period color. Just read the 930 article in the new Pano. Your timing is good from what I just read.

WPOZZZ 10-21-2014 07:39 PM

Congrats, it looks like you struck "gold"! lol

9dreizig 10-21-2014 07:41 PM

Congrats!!! Looking forward to seeing you over in the 930 section (we're special over there :-)
Cool color,, what's the interior ??

LWJ 10-21-2014 08:24 PM

Nostril - Yes. I will be selling the SC.
9dreizig - Dark Brown (chocolate?) It has sweet sport seats!
Herr - Turbo boost, novice turbo driver and wet streets = bad things. Thanks for the invite. I will make time to show up soon.

The only thing that sticks out is the dash isn't perfect. Otherwise, the car is a time capsule. I have an emotional attachement to early turbos. It involves my favorite uncle, now deceased. He imported a 75. I remember the stupid, mile wide grin he had when he showed me. I didn't know what a turbo was but only that it had to be something GOOD!

Glad you all like as much as I do! Thanks! Larry
