I am now a proud owner of a 2011....

Lexus RX 350. Had it for a month. 40k miles on it and got an extended warranty. Just did a trip to Victoria BC and back(1500 miles). This could be my last car. Turbine smooth on the highway. 270 hp and 26 mpg/imperial gallon. Lots of space for storage.

Lexus dealership is amazing. They are very friendly. Customer appreciation night etc. Everywhere I go now such as hotels I think of sub par service and they could learn lessons from my Lexus dealership.

Guy.

Congrats Guy! FWIW, I used to have an SC400 (and my dad's had a couple of LSs)....took my SC into the "stealership" exactly one time before I switched to a GREAT independent. You can "buy" a LOT of "friendly" (and pampering) for a $60 oil change and you do NOT want them to do a major service (60/90K) interval or you will "pay for a WHOLE LOT of friendly"....just my .02

That's one fine automobile. My sister has one and it just turned 100k. Its only 5 years old. Never an issue, while dealer is nice, but she only took it in when new with free oil changes and such. She takes it to my ind. Toyota mechanic for a lot less money.

That motor jams.

When I had my Infiniti, I would get oil changes done at the Nissan dealership for $28 rather than $70 at Infiniti. May be worth a shot with Toyota. Same engine, same oil.

Those babies share a platform with the Highlander, which my wife and I love our '12.

I'm sure it's more refined, but what great, no-nonsense, smooth, rides

Looks a lot like my new Venza.
So far so good with it.
A little bump in the road with the dealer service but nothing with the car.
Purchased a set of alloys for it off kijiji and used some dealer credits to purchase some blizzaks for it. Out of pocket a bit over 1k for the winter set including tpms.
Nice looking ride, Guy.

My wife has a 2004 RX 330. It has served us very, very well.

If you keep it long term, make a mental note. At the top of the front struts, there is a bearing. The seal at the top of the strut tower is not very robust, and moisture can get in. If you start to get creaks/groans/pops from the front end, that's likely the problem. Don't let a dealership sell you a new set of $$$ front struts without checking those first.
