ferrari2porsche problem

I ended up with the motor as some of the 911 BBS'rs will remember. giving away a 77 2.7
Problem is the guy woun't give me a bill of sale for it. I'm in CA, is there some recourse? I fugure if I put the motor in a street registered car, I will need documetntion for DMV.

Please give me your suggestions. I am going to try to keep this off the 911 board. I think they have had enough of this guy already.

That's too bad to hear. Good luck with your situation. Hopefully someone will be able to help you out.

As a side issue, he did not end-up sending me the fresh air blower knob that he said he was going to, but that was ok because Pelican had one that I was able to order.

Have a better day!!

What's more is that he was the one who was impatient if people didn't respond quickly to his needs. He left the BBS in a huff after members said he acted too hastily on giving negative feedback on his Ebay sale after no reaction from buying party in 24 hrs. Hell, I've been waiting since Aug 1st.

I don't think he intends to send it, but there must be some sort of legal requirement on his part. I had thought about contacting the State Bureau of Auto Theft to have the situation checked out. I might have bought a motor out of a stolen car!
