Bad week,.
Bad week for "nut bars" . Must be a bad moon. Or they opened the doors at the loonie bins all over North America. Something wrong.

Maybe the government will mandate that all citizens must wear protective hard hats and Kevlar trench coats. I can't imagine what will come after that. I understand concern about preserving citizens' rights, but I'm beginning to lean toward drawing some lines somewhere. The problem with that is that it will be eventually be exploited by the authorities and criminals. Not trying to PARF it up.

It's a horrible tragedy, but you can't legislate to the lowest common denominator. It has never worked and it will not work in the future.

You realize... 20-30 years ago this never would have made the news? Somewhere it was reported that murder numbers are actually going down... so the media has to hype every small atrocity to sell ad space. No disrespect to the victims... just saying this has been going on since we lived in caves... not likely to stop happening anytime soon... unfortunately.

There are a lot more wackos, and a lot less places for them to go.
So they are on the streets. People need jobs, places to go, and things that give their lives meaning. Lots of people don't have that. The way the world is being presented today does not promote sanity. But the craziest people I know will shout at the top of their lungs about how sane they are... |

The guy with the hatchet in NY was an islamist nut job doing his jihad per latest ISIS teachings. Religion of f'n peace my a$$. Reiver who posts in PARF has the best description of Islam that I have read. Worth going to PARF to read. We all need to be packing. Can't trust any of them.
