That's exactly why I'd like to see it happen... mechanical DNF for HAM at the last race.... It would be an outrage, no question, and might possibly put an end to all those silly BS rules that F1 comes up with now and again. I'd like to see DRS go away again, too... If you can get close, go ahead and pass without a wing advantage. And as a definite "non-fan" of Hamilton, he's clearly the faster driver of the 2.
What I'm amazed at this season is Vettel's collapse and how Ricciardo is trouncing him with a supposedly slow car down on power - can't be that bad if he's beating Williams. That makes Vergne (who was doing more than OK vs RIC) look like a good choice to stay at STR. His pass on Grosjean was optimistic but I like to see those moves attempted now and again, F1 is too sanitized now...ALO-RAI is also surprising to me, I knew Alonso was good but he's buried Kimi.
