Very interesting version Tabs- I saw Merri Clayton AND Lisa Fischer being interviewed togther about Gimme Shelter and she confirmed all that late night stuff.


Listen to her voice bust a 5.20, and Mick in the background. Old school, recording live.

But did you read the COMMENTARY....about the genesis of the song.

Merry Clayton had a miscarriage after hitting those notes.
