I fail to see what the Dad did wrong

Other than turn himself in and confess.

days of entertainment-

dan88911 11-03-2014 02:00 PM

What he did wrong was turning himself in to the police.

aap1966 11-03-2014 02:14 PM

The cops should have told him: come back tomorrow when you're 'sober'

2porscheguy 11-03-2014 02:21 PM

What he did wrong was....he should have left the POS live after the genital mutilation.

GH85Carrera 11-03-2014 02:29 PM

Sentence the dad to time served. He is done.

strupgolf 11-03-2014 02:31 PM

Good job dad, one less slimebag in the world.

Porsche-O-Phile 11-03-2014 02:59 PM

Is there someplace to contribute to his legal defense fund? I have no problem with what he did at all.

onewhippedpuppy 11-03-2014 03:06 PM

Sounds about right. Well done.

Vigilante-ism at its best

I have three daughters. And yes, a huge part of me agrees. But then we also have the "rule of law" and "innocent until proven guilty"... But hey if it is beyond reasonable doubt, I guess it saved taxpayer money... :)

Heated tongs...? Dad, you little devil you....

"A father in India is facing charges after admitting to enacting revenge on his daughter’s ALLEGED rapist ..."

I don't think we need to encourage people to go out and torture and kill based on allegations. There are men who have been thrown in jail after lengthy trials who have later been found to be innocent. The rule of law isn't perfect, but it's the best we have. Let's encourage people to respect it.

berettafan 11-04-2014 05:22 AM

Good for pops.

Sounds like the perp admitted what he did to the dad...in that event I say GO POPS!

crownarch 11-04-2014 05:36 AM

At least he had the balls to do it and then turn himself in. No pun intended

widebody911 11-04-2014 05:36 AM

There's an awful lot of "alleged" in that story

aschen 11-04-2014 06:46 AM

hopefully it was clear cut that he got the right guy

Otherwise I can't say I support vigillante justice, but if I was in charge of prosecution I wouldent be in any sort of hurry.

BlueSkyJaunte 11-04-2014 07:46 AM

Cases like this are what jury nullification is all about in the USA.

kanadary 11-04-2014 02:05 PM

I would think his daughter verified who got her pregnant so I would find no issues with what he did

Hugh R 11-04-2014 02:17 PM

When my daughter was a teenager, I pointed out to more than one boy that I owned 18 acres, a shovel, and a bag of lime. I think one asked me "What are the limes for?"
