One of these days I'll learn to not open threads like this.
But once opened, I have to say something.
It's so damn hard to part with such a close companion.

My condolences to you Mark. It's never easy.

I almost didn't open this thread because I knew it would be hard to read.

The unconditional love and trust our dogs give us is unfathomable at times. Do any of us really know how to do that?
Maybe it is so hard to lose them because they always saw the good in us.

I've said "Goodbye" to more than I care to count in the past thirty five years.
