It was built by Ron Kirn. It's his Old Blackie model. Essentially it's his take on an early 50's Telecaster. The guitar has a fat c neck with a 9.5 radius and medium frets. It also has a true nitrocellulose finish on a swamp ash body. It sounds and plays great. On my first impression I'm extremely happy with it. I assume I'll only like it better with time.

It's a Tweed Champ built by Clark Amps. Has a 12' Celestion Blue, NOS glass, built in reverb and attenuator. I bought it used off his website with a full warranty. I can't tell it from new. It's a great sounding amp. At least to me. I'd like to add a Blackface Princeton Reverb to the collection.

That is some very nice gear! Kirn's are legendary. The worst part? When you choke the solo you cant blame your nasty cheapo axe.

Enjoy!

I'm a vox player and I love the Blue. It's an unusual choice for a tweed champ but I bet it sounds great

That is the way to "Tele" imo. Sounds very similar spec to the black one I posted in your other thread- 52 spec. Thin nitro, ash body, monster neck. Cant tell in your pics, I assume it the 50s spec ashtray bridge with raised edges? Key to the Tele (imo).

Unsolicited advice on these- bridge pup height is very important.

Nice one.

Yes, it has 3 saddle ash stray bridge. It's essentially an early tele with a 9.5 radius neck, with a little bigger fret. It was just built with an extreme level of detail. I'd highly recommend one. I bought it to take to the grave.

You could dig a grave with a Tele. They have a multitude of uses.
