Best driving/fog lights for snow?

I'm thinking yellow lenses or bulbs, really strong beams. I want to possibly mount a couple of aftermarket PIAA or other brand lights on my bumper for driving in fog and falling snow. Probably only want round ones, (look cooler), but consider others.

Anyone a lighting expert?

I have yellow fogs on all my cars. I will say they works very well indeed in the snow and rain.

As far as what particular lights will fit on your car..I have no idea. My cars came with stock fog/driving lights and the bulbs were immediately changed out for yellow ones.

Thanks. I just assume that it's legal in the U.S.A. to project strong beams in yellow, don't really know though(?) Don't want to get in trouble.

Headed back to MN to visit? I can't imagine you need those much in SoCal.

Make sure the beam is shrouded, so the light is kept low. Biggest problem I have with a lot of light in falling snow is the reflection/glare that is created.
Also, if the lights are mounted low, you might find it helps to protect or reinforce the mounts so a random snow pile doesn't mess up the aim.

You need them a lot more in CA. than MN., we get a lot more snow here. Just not in Los Angeles. That said, I'll be in the mountains some this winter.
