New Years Eve at the Beach
We do this most New Years, a fire at the beach, fish eggs, all the accoutrements, Champaign, some other junk food. We usually last until the fire wood is gone. Get home before the crazies are out, about seven or seven thirty. It was pretty cold tonight so we didn't make it that late.

Great pics! When I retire I will move to California. Not only for the climate. I need to get away from the kebabization of Sweden.

I cannot post photos of our beaches. Trust me, you would really not wish to look at them.
These beaches make you miss Galveston Island!!!! ;-)

Usually there are a few more people but the cold weather kept them away, we didn't even stay as long as usual. People in SoCal are wimps, we don't handle weather well.
An earthquake once in a while is ok but cold weather isn't. Happy New Year. |

We'll be there Saturday afternoon, just in time for the nice weather! Nice spot there, with the fire pits. Love the smell of hole-in-the-fence fires burning.

In bed by 9, woke at 11:55 and loaded black powder blanks in the .38. Popped off six, Killed a bottle of Piper Heidsieck, went to bed and popped off one more.

We were drinking Champaign, didn't see one lifeguard, usually they cruise by a bit. I think it was cold enough they didn't want to leave their building or didn't see enough people around to make it worthwhile. Didn't have to hide it.
