shipping a p-car Nor-Cal to TX?

Hi all and Happy New Year - SmileWavy

Got a buyer for my 914 in TX, but we need to get it from NorCal to TX -

Anyone have any recent, good experience with this? The quotes in hand are for $1700, which seems on the high side to me!!

Who have you-all used for this sort of thing?

many thanks

That would be a great way for the new owner to bond with the car, Vivl-la-road trip

a standard non-enclosed car carrier should be around 850-1K with DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers). 1700 should get you enclosed

Chris Ridgway ships a lot of P cars around the country in enclosed trailer. 714 four zero two 0129

What Rick said, adjust the valves, get a spare clutch and and accelerator cables maybe. Down the coast hang a louie at San Berdoo

Southern route would be nice this time of year.
