				shipping a p-car Nor-Cal to TX?
			 
			Hi all and Happy New Year -   Got a buyer for my 914 in TX, but we need to get it from NorCal to TX - Anyone have any recent, good experience with this? The quotes in hand are for $1700, which seems on the high side to me!!  Who have you-all used for this sort of thing? many thanks td | ||

			a standard non-enclosed car carrier should be around 850-1K with DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers).   1700 should get you enclosed Chris Ridgway ships a lot of P cars around the country in enclosed trailer. 714 four zero two 0129 | ||

			What Rick said, adjust the valves, get a spare clutch and and accelerator cables maybe.  Down the coast hang a louie at San Berdoo Southern route would be nice this time of year.
