Another educational oil video, zddp, detergents, etc... for <'96 vehicles
Mobil 1 is making "Mobil 1 Classic" for vehicles from 1951 - 1996. It seems to be mostly about the fact that they have flat tappet cam/lifters and potentially need more ZDDP. It's got some good info about oils and oil additives.

10-30 is way too thin for an air cooled 911. Hopefully they make a 20-50.

The only reason that the 10w30 is now in play is because the current API specs don't allow that much zinc in modern oils. I guess they got enough folks wanting a similar additive package in a thinner oil.
