Energy stocks/funds hurt by low oil prices?
Looking for suggestions on stock/funds that have been hurt by low oil prices. There must be some bargains out there.....

I am an independent investor and have no interest in promoting this stock. Not in green.
I bought Crescent Point Energy on a broker recommendation at $24.25 Can about 2 weeks ago . It is now at $30 Can. I feel good about it as I bought it close to its yearly low. Okay so we are awash in oil but that won't last forever and the price will slowly recover. Don't use me as guidance! Caveat emptor. Cheers, Guy |

Linn Energy (LINE and LNCO) was over $30 in February of 2014 and is now under $10. I think it might be worth looking into. I have some in my portfolio and am thinking of getting some more.

I wonder if just plain old USO should be looked at. Down more than 45% in just 1 year and I agree, oil won't stay low forever.
Warning: this is coming from a guy who was 100% absolutely sure he'd never see gas below $2 again...

HAL is down quite a bit and reports earnings tomorrow morning. If it dumps again tomorrow then it might be considered a long term bargain.
I bought some calls a month or so ago and am currently in the weeds with them so I might not take advice from me... |
