Anyone going to the 2015 Rolex?
I have always want to go since I was a teenager just could never make it happen. So this year Myself and two buddies are heading down there. We got our airfare, hotel, race tickets.
Looking forward to a good time. Based on what I have heard I will be one of the few geeks that is there mainly for the race. It seems most people go for the party. Not to say I won't partake but it is not the reason I am going. Hope to meet up with some people from Pelican.

We have 2 big camping spots side by side on the fence dead center of nascar 3/4.......I'll be there thursday morning. .. through the duration......

Well, you are about 2 months early. The party race is Sebring, the grunge race is Daytona. I also have thought about going down for the early race, but it's usually cold, cloudy, rainy, etc. Plus this year I hope there are enough cars to have a race. This new combined series has been loosing cars and teams faster than snow in florida.

Infield parking has really been reduced over the years. Paved roads and parking, 6" fence, grandstands etc etc etc. has really changed the place. I'm thinking of going to the "Roar Before the 24". Less crowds.

I was able to day park in 2011,.. Showed up Saturday morning....that no longer the case?

Not in the infield, chances are all the infield Parking passes are sold out.....
they are running a tram system now though if you park outside the track.

I'm down too....but there needs to be some organizing, everytime we try to get a group together no one knows anyone and can't find each other....
the ale house is perfect.....good food /beer. ...and close to the track..... Someone needs to make a small flag or something......
