What if a person was born -in his mind- as a one-armed amputee . .. but actually had both arms. Would people be going out of their way to say, hey, if chopping off his right arm will make him happy... After all, he already identifies as an amputee.. I'm amazed with how many people find the lopping off a functional body part --in pursuit of happiness-- as okee dokee. ps Vincent van Gogh, whacked! What a side show |
see, i don't care if he wants to change genders. whatever. but vanity fair getting all gushy about something that is clearly not attractive is ridiculous. they had the audacity to put in writing that 'caitlyn' is beautiful.... um.... my diagnosis is that the writer(s) had way too much beer.

Why do we (America) care so much? It's his/her life. The fact that this has been made into a spectacle is what is truly offensive.
Personal matters brought into the spotlight by the rabid media and their whores is what makes this a circus. Live and let live. I don't bother you, you don't bother me. |

Ms. Bruce Jenner !!
My apology to her, but I see a Teri Hatcher resemblance.

The entire thing is just mind bending to me.
We had a customer where I used to work that was just the average not very attractive slovenly 50 something guy. One day he came walking in the business in a full dress, hose, wig, wearing high heels with big earrings, a necklace and a bracelet. It was surreal and I almost asked in a flippant tone if he lost a big bet. The lady that was our counter help started asking him questions over the next few weeks. He said he had always felt like he was a woman. He said he was not gay and had no interest in men as a partner. We never saw him without a full dress. Never ever a skirt and certainly not slacks. Always a June Cleaver style outfit. He was ugly as a dude and he was scary UGLY as a "woman." We kept him-her as a customer since he paid his bill and was a regular customer. It was all beyond my comprehension. |
They're always uglier afterwards but they are beautiful on the inside!

Gee, I wonder what Oprah said about this twisted and perverted cry for help? bunch O'gossiping old women! |
I'm so sick of the pandering ultra PC news referring to him as a hero. He's not an effing hero, he's a dude that decided to be a chick and will make millions by whoring the story out to TV. He's a made for TV freak show desperate to stay in the limelight, as are the rest of his worthless family. A hero selflessly risks his/her life to save others, he is definitely not that.

I do disagree that, "this has been made into a spectacle." I think it was designed by Jenner to be a spectacle. All this attention he is getting is his doing. We have a guy in our town, about 6'1" skinny as a rail, dresses like Shirley Temple in a blonde wig and carries a little plastic Hello Kitty purse. He isn't on TV. Most of the time he looks nice (for a guy in a Shirley Temple dress and 4" heels). Believe me he looks weird as he11 sitting in the coffee shop in his dress, no wig, and a two day growth of beard. |

However he was an Olympic champion, american hero and the pinnacle of manliness as well as a Reality TV star. If you want to beat the media and public over having any interest in reality TV im with you. However a super manly man coming out as transgender in a time gay/transgender rights are major discussion areas seems like a real story to me. Of course they sensationalize the hell out of it though. |

They showed a picture of him as her posing in his/her GT3 RS this morning on channel 4 news. That was a trip to wake up to.

He was a great athlete, but NEVER a hero.
There was a story of some dude driving down the road last week and he saw someone driving too fast in the rain spin and crash and another car was launched into the river. The man stopped, and swam out to some dude that could not swim. The hero was almost pushed under by the man he was trying to rescue. He finally got him to shore and they were fine. The person that caused the wreck did not do anything to help. THAT IS A REAL HERO! Not someone that can run fast in competition. That is just an athlete. |
Bruce, Bruce, Bruce....have the Kardashians taught you nothing? Go with +2s and get rid of the refund gap.
