"I bet I can out-crazy the Kardashians."

"Oh yeah? Prove it"

sammyg2 01-29-2015 12:12 PM

I seem to remember an Olympic athlete names Bruce Jenner, but that was prolly 40 years ago.
I don't know what ever happened to him and truthfully don't really care.

I'm not sure what a kardashian is, but I heard it was an exercise machine for black dudes.

Now please excuse me while I go kick myself in the butt for posting to this thread. SmileWavy

This guy was the Olympic idol of my generation. I remember watching the decathlon in 1976 with my Dad. Truly an epic feat to master all those disciplines and win gold.

This is the Jenner I remember.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1422567135.jpg

Not going to judge the guy but what a damn circus his life has become.

joe payne 01-29-2015 12:56 PM

Well, you know his name IS Bruce...

He's not going to find it being followed around by a film crew.

I agree. It must be horrible living with this inside you for 60 years and hiding it.

I had a 30 year friend who was always negative and depressed. At almost 60 left his wife and came out as gay. Now he owns a fun sidewalk restaurant in West Hollywood and is living the dream. He's actually fun to be around now. (Unfortunately, now I know why he always wanted to share a bunk room when we went fishing, the dirty bastard  I always though he was just cheap!)

Me too. I cannot imagine living my life wishing I was the opposite gender. As weird and eventful as my life has been, I've always felt like this skin was my own. It must be just horrifically painful to live feeling any other way.

Whatever becomes, I wish Bruce Jenner peace.

I have many LGBT friends and family. I've seen the struggles they deal with. As far as Im concerned, if it makes you happy and it isnt hurting anyone, have at it.

I also wish this guy the best.

We do too. My father even asked why Jackie and I had "so many single friends" at our wedding (he's clueless).

Ask a gay or lesbian couple if they would like their child to be gay…They will all say NO! it isn't easy on any of them. Fortunately, this is the decade of LGBT civil rights and progression is happening quickly.

Ask a LGBT if they chose the life and you'll get the same answer. I always marvel at the self-righteousness of those who condemn the LGBT community for making an 'evil' choice. As if they chose that life. No one in their right mind would choose a lifetime of scorn, ridicule, duplicity and discrimination.
