Pretty Cool !

I would like to see a B-747 same scale fly inside.

The guy really had it down nicely.

285g? But it is 2 x 2 m in size? With 9 Servos? That's got to be a typo! 2.850g would still be pretty light. But weight definitely is key to the slow speed ...

Ok, the comments on youtube mention that the fuselage is practically a baloon and likely He filled. That makes sense. That would be very light in material and the He will reduce the weight significantly too in a 2 m long tube!

At the beginning it said it weighs 285 grams, which is very little, only a bit over a half a pound.

And in certain shots the body looks a little wrinkly, like it's a balloon.

It also says it has a 2 meter wingspan, which is over 6 feet.

With that big wingspan, and almost no net weight, it seems like it could cruise that slowly.

It is a freaky cool/surreal looking video, though!

That explains the ugly nose. Still cool though.

You can see the wrinkles on the bottom seam of the fuselage. It is a filled baloon.

One cubic meter of He has 11N buoyancy (wikipedia)
That's over 1kg in mass compensated. It is possible the wings have He in them too and 2 cubic meters are possible. That'd be over 2kg mass compensated. I still don't know how you can have 9 servos and motors at about 3kg, but it probably does need very little to be propelled.

Yup, I should have read the weight better, . My mistake.
A flying balloon it is!
That explains indoors as a hangar (no wind )
I guess it would bounce off something if it hit...LOL

Yea, a 6x6 foot 10 oz powered balloon is a cool toy only if you have a hangar.

It is a cool toy but I will pass.

Very cool! Upon take off I thought he didn't have enough speed then when he went wheels up I figured it was ultra light weight which only a balloon or nanotubes could accomplish - still doesn't take away from it. The flight looked very comparable to a real one.
