Wife told me she "Needed some space"

I figured this would happen eventually. My wife at times hinted and other times outright said there was a problem - I was shutting her out; deep inside I knew she was right, but for the most part I ignored it - I was busy with work and other projects. She even suggested seeing a professional who she thought could come up with a solution, but I was having none of that. This worked (for me) for a couple of years. At first she didn't seem to mind, but over time I could tell she was getting impatient. I wasn't being fair, she said. She even knew I had a couple of toys on the side, but let it slide for the most part. But last weekend, when I came in late, smelling of beer, after being gone all day and part of the evening, to find her sitting on the couch trying to balance a cat, a laptop and a cup of tea, I realized I better do something and quick or I was going to be in real trouble. So last weekend, I tucked my tail between my legs, put my g'nads in a little jar of formaldehyde, and slunk down to Ikea to find a solution. We came back with a nice little corner computer desk, and I set her up with a docking station for her laptop, a 24" monitor and a real keyboard and mouse, and now she's happy again.

Yep, you played that well my dear widebody911! It took half of your post to know which way this thread was heading--good job, sir.

Don't forget to service her, i've got a french model that requires it several times a week. She just doesn't run right without cleaning out the cobwebs.

Good one, did not know where it was going.

How about giving her one of your balls next?

Exercise balls are useful, in a gym or therapeutic setting, for strengthening your core muscles. The inherent instability of the round, prone-to-rolling exercise ball forces core muscles to constantly stabilize your body while you're on the ball.

I've never read 50 shades of Gray, so I don't know how that all works. Does the loctite keep her from escaping?

I might be on the outside, but if she finds the thrill siting on a chair, looking at a computer, and not sitting on you, then you/she might have more problems then we think.
