Any horticulturists? Black roses
Momz has fallen in love with black roses. Having a hard time finding a retailer in CA or someone that will do mail order.
Something like this S&W Greenhouse - Mail order bare root roses Anyone got a connection?

Coworker who used to own a nursurey dedicated to roses suggests checking with Jackson and Perkins.
And they aren't black - they are a super dark purple.

Was just going to say.. Black roses don't happen in nature.
Heavy speculation that the supposed Black Roses of Halfeti, Turkey are a hoax.

Yeah, they are a hybrid and dark red/violet......but they are do LOOK black. Thanks for the tip.

All of their roses are in bloom, it's a great place to walk around and see every variety available. Then you can shoot over to Ventura for lunch and take PCH or 101 home.
