Latest project, Bronze Gecko on Marble

Just poured this last week, the Gecko is 4.5 lbs Bronze, the stone is Turkish Marble, about 100 lbs. It is fitted to the marble and the feet have pegs cast in them so I drilled and epoxied them to the stone. I fit the wax gecko to the stone with a hair dryer but the Bronze always comes out a little different so I had to cut the stone a little to make it fit.
Just got the patina on and buffed it today
First, that wax as I carved it before it was bronze.

Something done with the two-toned eyes.
I like it. Best work so far.
I wouldn't hesitate to put it in my garden.

Great!

I admire and applaud the artistry and the workmanship - two things I lack.

Very cool, Dean! There's a lot of talent in what you do. Where do you market your stuff?
