Thinning down auto touch-up paint
Some of those little bottles of touch up paint that you pick up from the dealer tend to be on thick side or thicken up with age. Does it matter what you use to thin these? Plain old paint thinner, lacquer thinner?
Thanks.

I was going to do this to a bottle of BMW touch up paint. The bottle said it was lacquer, so I was just going to use lacquer thinner. In the end I just brushed it on straight out of the bottle.

You want to use lacquer thinner. Then really shake it up!
