How to

How to delete ones own posts. I could do last week, but can't seem to accomplish today. I can find "edit/delete" but it goes nowhere. At least not where I want to go.

Stumped!

Go to your post.

Hit 'Edit' in bottom right corner.

Select the 'Delete' option...

Confirm with 'Delete This Message'.

Maybe you were not logged in?

When I hit edit, I'm not offered the delete option. I see "edit/delete" but I can only click on the pair together which lets me edit, but not delete.

Stumped or stupid, maybe both!

I don't think you can delete a post if it's the first one in a thread. Moderators can, and will if you contact them.

If you put yourself on ignore, you'd never see the post and it would be no big deal.

Along with being the first in a thread, I don't think you can delete a post after someone has responded to it. You can edit the text and delete all the words, but the posting information (screen name, etc.) will remain. You can ask the mods to delete the posting information, also.
