2005 Mercedes c230 Kompressor
So I am pretty sure I am going to sound like a complete idiot and its because I am a chick and only learned hot to do more than add some oil , water and gas!! However At least I am smart enough to locate a place were there are smart people who are nice enough to not just tell me take it to a shop, that would be dumb considering I can see there's two sensors that are obviously in need of a home , just not sure where that might be. The car starts fine there are no check engine lights the only thing is it does continually say monitors arent ready so perhaps one of you smart people can help a girl out and provide some info other than go bake cookies, Thank you to anyone who is kind of enough to help and provide some real assistance. Mercedes is not known for sharing info i have searched for a wiring diagram and have yet to find one. anyway thank you so much for your help and have a great day! Tonya

If it's saying "Monitors aren't ready" and no CEL the car is in fact, fine.
Leave it alone, it's just telling you the car hasn't tested it's sensors- yet, but it's working on it. Drive it on the highway for a half hour or so, drive it for awhile. That should allow it to test. rjp

I don't even like cookies, but if you've got carrots or celery, I'm game. Seriously, why don't you stop by my place and I'll take a look at your C230? I used to wrench on Mercedes Benzes and I've got a nice scanning tool and a wiring diagram. I think we can get your sensors straightened out. We could even do a quick LOF as well.
