My Juki has arrived !!

And I can tell China to kiss off now.
No more 3,000 unit MOQ's, no more waiting for a slow boat from China, no more customs opened packages (what? you wanted a souvenir?).
Best of all I can start labeling some product Made in America (by a grumpy old white dude).

My Juki980 Box X stitcher

It can do material as heavy as leather. I just need it for nylon strapping material. Took a long time to find one I could afford.

Neat!
I love all machines - and sewing machines. 'Done a bit of sewing in my day. 'Have an old Elna war horse that I drag out now/then.
What do you feed that monster?

Beautiful. Have a neighbor who makes custom leather bags. Had to repair/unclog hers before. These things are works of art. Every piece of the machine is polished, overbuilt precision made steel. Makes me want to become a sewing machine mechanic. I am not kidding. The smell of fine oil ...

As soon as it's set up I hope to keep it fed with a steady diet of nylon straps making a variety of products I make for kayaking and other water sports.

Ah a Junki. No they were very good back in the 1980's when we used to buy Juki printers as our high output line printers.
