I was hacked...Pelican or other?
Haven't been online much lately until this morning and had only been to a couple of "trusted" sites (Fidelity, Pelican, etc.). Mid-morning, I was cordially notifed that all of my files had been encrypted, and instructions on how to proceed
![]() Screw that... I keep my PC "lean & mean"....(i.e. minimal customizations, no personal files, etc.), so a reset to factory defaults is the VERY first thing I do when I suspect malware, and also on a "semi regular" basis...YMMV. Anyone else...or was it just me ![]() |

I started getting multiple emails about a "toll increase" and multiple "mail undeliverable" emails at 2:53 AM. Don't know what that was about.

Check this - if it's the version identified by our organization we have a tool that fixes it for free.

Pelican has been blocked at work for a few days now with some kind of note about malicious sites. Maybe it has something to do with that?
