Any Lexus RX400h owners out there?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy my neighbors clean 07' RX400h. It has about 80,000 miles and has had the timing belt service done.

I think he may only ask about $9-10K which is well below retail. It needs new summer tires, but thats about it.

Just curious if anyone has anyhting good or bad to say about owning one of these?

Shares the same platform as the Toyota Highlander.

If I were concerned about anything, I'd be doing homework on the life-cycle/longevity of the hybrid system.

As a Highlander owner, it should serve you as a nice shiny appliance

I have a 2006 at 100K going strong, not a single mechanical issue yet. I plan on keeping it for at least another 100K.

Can't speak for your model, but my 08 Camry Hybrid just runs and runs with 100K. I saw Camry Hybrids as taxis in NYC with 300K and no battery changes.

My wife has a 06 400h with 150K miles and we have never had one problem, still drives like new. Under 10 grand would be a no brainer for one.
