My brothers 1st Porsche, today, with pics

We had a fun day today picking up my bros first Porsche, although slightly dampened by damage during transporting, either loading or unloading.

Cool!
Is your brother older/younger?

Both are good looking hot rods.

Combined we're 138 yrs, he's older, looks younger and is better looking. He lives next door, a house I rent to him, so we share a back yard. It's nice and he and his wife are easy to live next to.

I like this 996 of his, but maybe I'm more into my car, the 993. (I told him his was
real fine) They wanted a convertible so there happy. He almost bought an Audi, so I'm happy with this car.

Nice car. Hardtop is great for snowdays.

Bummer about the damage. Hope the shipper makes it right.

What is the transport company doing "to make it right" regarding the bumper damage?

Congrats to your brother! The best thing about 996s and 7s is they are gateway drugs getting people into the earlier cars.

Polar Silver 993s are beautiful, one of the best colors for the car.

Nice Christmas present!
He should get a tax deduction for neighborhood improvements.
Did he take delivery in Moncton?

Best

Sadly you can buy 3 nice 996s for the price of a mediocre 993. So I guess that's like going from pot to coke?

Good view from my house

Yes. we picked up in Moncton., Yes it has both tops,. The transporter/seller are going to make it right. I think the best would be a repair (plastic welding) then
blow in paint to the corner instead of doing a whole new bumper cover as that might make it more visible in case of paint not matching. Silver is a difficult color to match sometimes. We have good body guys, see what they say. Not too worried.
He has a garage over there too., just need to move a 944S to some other location.
My rat rod lives in that garage, so good companions for the winter.

Thanks for looking guys,

Damage repair turned out well., now just have to wait for better weather. Right now we are in a deep freeze (-25C) every day. Plus today getting wind and snow/rain.
Shi**y weather for sure, but looks like all of N.A. is getting the same.

Good luck to us all!

His Arctic silver makes my Polar silver 993 look blue. I like his interior though I'm not sure what it's called.
