And he posted 3 pics of the car. He won't sell without proof of funds. Hell, I won't buy without proof of the car.
Clearly, the sideview mirrors should be proof enough. Don't bother with the engine or rear clambshell deck lid.

Bruce Canepa's shop is in Scotts Valley, which is by Monterey, CA. That pic looks like it was taken on the entrance patio in front of the showroom. The majority of 959s in America were probably federalized through his shop, so the car could very well have passed through CA on its way to Houston. But it's odd that a current owner would use old pics to sell a car like a 959.

Certainly a scam. "E-mail only" is a big red flag. Scammer hoping for a foreign buyer who'll wire the money and expect to ship.
