John Deere 330. 3 cyl Yanmar diesel. Upgraded to full hydraulics. 48 in deck, 54 in plow with tilt and angle. Steel big cart. I have 2.5 acres 1 acre cleared that I mow. 300 foot drive that I plow. It's all I need for what I have. A HUGE work saver. It has 1100 hours on it. Built in 1982 and a real Deere with a plate.

Here's an oddity from the early 1980's. Made by Kubota. Remote controlled, crab steer, AWD. Before regulations and ROPS. The idea if one was mowing steep embankments or such, could get off the machine and use the remote. If I recall was approx. $26k back then! Lots of coin ~

Use the remote? For that much $$ you'd throw your body under the rolling chassis to keep it from cartwheeling down a hill.

I have both, lawn tractor for cutting the lawn, JD X320 54" and a 60hp FWD Fiat for the big jobs.

I've been knocking down saplings by hand and I had some huge oak trees trimmed by professionals. They chipped all the saplings for me and left the mulch. Now I have a pile of mulch as big as a full size van. I would be so much easier to spread that stuff out if I had a tractor. With a loader bucket I could fill up my pick-up and drive it around to where I need the mulch.

Also now that the saplings are gone the area is ready for a bush hog.

I keep drooling over the new John Deere models and they have some aggressive financing options. I doubt I will make it another six months without one.

Right now it is a White 2-60 but it really is a Fiat 640DT 4wd, just rebadged for the NA market. Anywhere you can see the paint scraped off it's fiat orange underneath.
Fiat/NewHolland still make the 640dt 2wd in Pakistan so spares are no problem.

It was delivered yesterday. This thing is awesome! I was thinking the loader was only going to be useful for moving loose materials but you can do some light grading with it also. I already got 3.5 hours on it cleaning up some old downed pine trees and messing around. Somehow I was gifted a $250 brush guard for the front end, it wasn't on the order sheet but it was on the tractor when it showed up. All it has to do now is be reliable and we will get along just fine.

Every one that has property needs a tractor just makes it easy and more fun to complete tasks. I use mine all the time.

That is the first thing I did yesterday. I did some loader work with the brush mower attached but ended up dropping it too when things got tight. I have a rear ballast box on the way so I have to be very careful until that shows up. Most of what I am doing now is just back dragging and smashing brush.

Very nice. I really dont need one but it would make a few things much easier. Call me a little bit jealous.

Fall project: I rented the yellow JD 450 for a weekend to clear my 3 acres. Since, I've been using my JD 4210 to grade and smooth my work. The JD mower is hooked to the cart to move firewood up to the house.
