NO
At least on this image there are NO pelvic fractures seen.
Those are normal joints in the pelvis as noted above.
Do we see all pelvic fractures on a single view- no- but again those are NORMAL joints.
Lets not make this more complicated than it already is.
I look at these all day.

So....is her pelvis fractured ? Or not.

"No, the upper two are the sacroiliac joints and the bottom center is the pubic symphysis, all normal joints. The fracture is in the proximal left femoral shaft and appears comminuted (multiple fragments)."

Sounds like he knows what he's talking about. :)

From that image I'd say she has a good shot at a new career in the state department.

Walking in three to six months, almost normal in a year. Feeling normal in two to three years.

I recommend Sanka for my TV patients. If there is Physical Therapy available in her insurance coverage, she should be all over it.

Like I stated before.....good thing she didn't fracture her pelvis. I get a free stay at the Holiday Inn of my choice!

They want her walking today. They put a pin in and screwed the bones together. They claim it's as strong as it was before the break and the only pain she is feeling is from the incision in her leg. :)

If she can walk today that is amazing. Speedy recovery for your sister GW.
