Another dick-head cop, soon to be out of a job.

As typical in the media, they left out several facts:mad:

Looked to me the situation was quickly escalating. Lots of people amped up, cops way outnumbered. I'm not so quick to condemn his actions.

I suspect it would have gone a lot smoother if the kids that were uninvited, left quietly when they were asked to do so.

So the lady in the last video had a party that got out of hand when a bunch of people they did not invite showed up and started causing trouble. Interesting she did not mention that at all

The whole incident convinces me that the media is almost entirely populated by whores that would do or say anything to sensationalize a story.

Whatever lead up to this is one thing.

From what I see here, a bunch of kids, all polite, calmly speaking with officers, and milling about until little Mr Rambo runs around manhandling them and using profanity escalates things.

I don't see where even one of the kids did anything that warranted that behavior.

The other cop around :40 was doing it right. Kids seemed to be co-operating with him, giving up info, till the dickhead showed up.

None of us were there.

None of us have a complete picture of the entire situation.

The only thing we know is what we see and read from reports - most of which are put into some kind of biased context (IMHO).

This is one of those situations where there "seems to be" plenty of blame to go around. But since I was not there - that's just an assumption based on what I have read and seen.

Ultimately though - this forum (and many like it) will be an internet battleground for those taking sides.....

And nothing good will come of it except hurt feelings, damaged relationships, and attitude adjustments.

That's what I thought exactly.

White cops break up a largely black party, end up in altercation with black teens. Black parents DEFEND the actions of said cops. Yet a bunch of old white guys on the internet decree their actions based on a cell phone video that doesn't show the entire altercation? I'm starting to think we need an "I Hate Cops" sub forum for you guys to have your little hate parties.

I'll be the first person to jump on a cop for doing something wrong, but its at the point on here that there isn't a single thing a cop can do right anymore.

Then these 2 kids came up and looked to me like they were looking for an opening to hit him. One guy, cop or not surrounded by 4 brazen teens, could certainly cause trouble for him. It wouldn't take much for him to end up on the ground. Look how close the one kids foot is to the cops.

Let’s put this in perspective. Two murderous gangs of bikers who’ve just been involved in a massive shooting can follow the police orders to sit down on the curb and stay still…but a bunch of teenagers seem confused on the subject.

It sucks to be a cop in this day and age. It'll even suck more when you need one and they do nothing, because everyone else(who isn't a cop) knows how to handle the situation better.

It's a thankless job and so many people don't think they have the right to go home after a day's work.

Who were in the group with the teenager in a bikini who was following the cops orders and was leaving until he decided to drag her back and wrestle her to the ground?

The guys who were 2 of the 7 people surrounding him?

The guys who were backing up before he even pulls his gun?

This guy had zero control of the situation, none, not a ****ing clue what he was doing and from seven and a half minutes of video appears to have done more to escalate it than anyone else.

And it seems the other cop who was calmly speaking with the kids finds it easier than mini Rambo.

I think there's plenty of blame to go around. The stupid kids that were manhandled were not obeying orders to disperse. If the girl had shut her mouth and gone home she would not have had a run-in with the cops. Having said that, captain america there did nothing to deescalate the situation. And wow that little cammando role was really really cool. It looks better in slow motion with some james bond music playing. Lol that guy was way amped up. The video in its present form is no more than a propaganda piece for the blacklivesmatter/all whites are racist movement. I really did not see anything racist about it. There are tweets from people living in the area stating that black kids were climbing fences to get into the pool. While there were black kids invited, the uninvited were asked to leave wherin they became mouthy. That's when the cops were called with reports that some black teens were treaspassing. So if that is the case, do you expect the cops to round up all the white folks? Also watch the video and look at who is not complying with lawful orders. And btw I would sue that cop if he treated my daughter like that - right after I grounded her for acting like a little *****. Captain america went way overboard. He's supposed to be the adult. He's supposed to be the professional.

On another note it really is disheartening reading the responses to the video on some of these other sites. There is so much hate of white people. When I was in high school we all got along. Seems things have really gone backwards. I would be very dissappointed if my black friends of so long ago subscribed to this ****.

This guy is black and lives in the development and was there to witness what really happened:

And it was reported that it was a DJ that put an invitation on Facebook to come to the party, not the host of the actual party. So - I would be suing that idiot as well. God people are becoming dumber by the minute.

It would be sweet if this got moved to parf and then parf was deleted. It would make my day!

Mini Rambo way outta line....let's give credit to the two good cops that rush him and get him to put his gun away. They deserve a commendation.

My 2¢:

There is pretty much no one who was "in the right" in this situation. The cop probably shouldn't have drawn his gun, but maybe the girl did deserve to be restrained. We just don't know. I'm skeptical of the video, as the group of teens may have been coordinated (to some degree) the filming.

Michael Moore was famous for swearing at people, throwing stuff, and getting in people's faces. Once he had them good and mad, then he'd start filming and act perfectly calm and reasonable. This was done to make the other side look irrational and angry. We don't know what these teens were doing just before the camera was rolling, and the person filming may have just had to indicate that they were going to start filming and the teens instantly started behaving better.

My point is, we just don't know what preceded the video, and I wouldn't put it past some kids to try to manipulate the situation to their advantage.

Do I think the cop was a little overzealous in his handling of that girl? Yeah, I do. Do I feel he was justified in drawing his weapon? From what I seen in the video at that moment, yes I do. Like Matt stated I wasn't there, I didn't see what led up to this, or what was going on in the peripheral. So those are the only two things I can make any judgment call on.

It sounds reasonable to threaten deadly force when an approaching mob presents a disparity of force. But you should never draw if you're not prepared to really fire. And, had he fired, I can't imagine the schitstorm we'd be discussing now. Do you really want to see another "White cop shoots unarmed black teen" again as a headline? Cops need to learn how to DE-ESCALATE every situation and especially when it involves kids.

As for the story behind how the party was organized, it really has nothing to do with the cops' behavior. Main cop is gonna get fired for using profanity and drawing on unarmed kids. Right or wrong, it didn't have to happen that way and the HOA can deal with the badly behaving residents and hire more security to keep outsiders out.

The definition of "kids" is easy to make after an incident...maybe not so easy when the crap is flying.

Wow that is really damning. Someone in that community needs to organize a lawsuit against all activist organizations involved. Surely there's a lawyer there that would donate time for the cause. Supposedly the organizer of the pool party is section 8. I rented to a section 8 b$tch before - never again.

Pretty sure this is the "Tatiana" that organized the event, apparently to sell tickets to another event. It appears that everything she says in the above video is a lie. This young woman should almost certainly spend some time in jail.

Don't know exactly what happened with the girl in the bikini. Maybe she told the cop she was going to go get a few friends to bring some guns and start shooting people.

When we were kids, we crashed parties from time to time, snuck into hotel & apartment complex swimming pools, but when we were caught, we left, we didn't assault, cuss out or vandalise the people or property. Kids today have no respect for others or the law, so when a cop cracks their skulls open, it is a result of the kids actions and yes, they get what they deserve. As long as people keep making excuses for bad behavior, not caring about Right from Wrong, they will enable these punks.

Not like punks don't gang up on cops.
