There are hundreds of great films that get made every year. Very few people go to see them, and sadly often you need to live in LA or NY to see them in a theater, but they are out there on netflix, etc.

Most recent one we watched (netsflix) was The Great Magician. Amazing Chinese film that you think if a serious period piece but has comedy, drama, irony, etc. Tony Leung is awesome as always.

+1, I caught an older Australian film on Netflix, "Gettin' Square", I thought it was very good.

I thought it was ok, but not great.

I rolled my eyes when the kids pops an old battery off the shelf into the jeep and it starts up. Old gas and all.

They grabbed the battery out of the wrecked Mule out front.

It did run pretty rough on that old fuel so it was actually one of the most plausible things in the movie.

It's a movie about re-creating dinosaurs. Which parts did you find unbelievable?

We went as a family and enjoyed it - very cool special effects and some exciting action scenes.

All that and still had time to embed two links in your post to spam the board?

:D and Yep.

Benz was trying to showcase the new GLE Coupe, which I've seen in our parking lot. Not very found of that design. I liked the other more conventional and older models in the show - especially the G-class and the trucks.

I kept expecting one of the dinos to get in a MB and drive off. Some of the beauty shots were just a little too blatant.

When we saw the last Avengers movie, I started pointing out Audis to my daughter. She got tired of that real fast! ;)

On the plus side, zookeepers have been doing some great parodies of Chris Pratt:

Yes! Thank you. I am so relieved to learn that I am not alone in this.

This movie was horrible!
