Just bought 2 more MacBook Pros. I don't care who stole what 20+ years ago. I just need stuff to work.

I got Windows 8 up and running reasonably well.....still learning it.
I get a free switch to Windows 10 when it comes out in 3-4 weeks>

THEY say it's better but. I should be fairly conversant with Windows 8 about then.......Change for the sake of change has never been my cup of tea.....but I never went to college.

I got a few pics working, I'll give it a shot.

I went through the cycle of buying nice, expensive pcs every 2 years and got tired of the crashes and poor performance. Going on 7 years now, it's great. Comfortable on either platform but like my Mac better. I don't want to be a programmer, just want together my work done

I replace my PC's generally every 5-7 years; have never had one crap out on me. Once, I had a CD drive give up on me, but I did take that computer to Kuwait/Iraq/Afghanistan and subjected it to some gnarley sand storms, so that could have been the culprit. Aside from that, the computer was as good as it had been on day one (it was an Alienware).
