Cadillac CTSV or CTSV2?
I am seriously considering getting a CTSV - I posted a while ago about the G8 but have been pushed into caddy territory.
I drove a CTSV and wasn't overwhelmed by the power but it is a heavy car. I did like the interior and ride. I need to drive a CTSV2 next but really don't want to cough up the extra $20k for the CTSV2. Who has had both? Is the V2 worth the extra $20k? This is a car I plan to own for several years and mile out. It will be driven year round. One other idea is to buy a wrecked V2 and fix it - I'm not concerned about resale.

When you say CTSV2, I'm assuming you mean the second generation one, with supercharger?
I've driven, well flogged, a few of these at a caddy sponsored track event. My impression of it was that it drove pretty much exactly like my E55 AMG did. Similar heft, similar grip, similar steering feel, similar braking, similar power and torque. Similar bells and whistles, just in a 6 year newer package. It felt really close. That said, if you like the styling of the Merc, go look at one of them, Prices are in the low twenties, for nice ones. If you need to have the 6 speed manual, coin up and get the caddy.
