These people find out that you can't lay around smoking dope all day and take care of a dog too, so the dogs get neglected. The lucky ones escape or are turned loose. There are a lot of PBs that are badly abused through neglect. The latest act of cruelty she handled was a litter of PB puppies 8 days old that were throw alive in a dumpster. You wouldn't believe some of the things she sees. It breaks your heart.

Had an employee who told me about his sick dog...3 years old. One morning (7 AM) on the way to the work site (17 miles away) I asked him about his pup.
He said, "I shot her and threw her in a dumpster."
I was speechless and thought and thought and stewed and stewed all morning.
Finally at 10:30 I went to my truck/check book...walked back over to him, handed him a check for hours worked and said, "Catch a bus!"

Good for you Don, although the employee probably didn't even know what he did wrong, people like that have no self respect, so why would they have any respect for any other living being.

are pit bulls just more successful in thier chance breeding encounters with other dogs ?

Mine wants to hump our female Boxer every night after dinner. Half a dozen times, or more. Every night. He hasn't had nuts since he was a pup, and she was spayed as well, so he's accomplishing absolutely nothing. In fact, his aim is rather poor, especially when she's sitting down.

Doesn't stop him, though.

Go vegan on the food until target weight is attained, then mix it up with dry lamb and beef.......
Green peepers, apples, pears, oranges, potatoes.....and then run the hell out them...

I just got a notice about my twin 10 pound juggernauts. The 250 pound mailman is afraid that they will bust a brand new security door down and jump up and bite his knees. I either have to close my front door 24/7 or move the mail box to the street......he cc'd the City animal enforcement as well.......there goes his Christmas bonus. *******.

His Lean waist with thick chest, the new Queen is going to have to start to "play ball" literally.

Elizabeth is much more Lab, than Pit.........she's a blob o' dog.

Better start playing some Jane Fonda fitness tapes with her high cut nylon leggings.......Fonda was yummy.

Nice dog! I know that you will enjoy having her around. However, Jane Fonda wasn't "yummy", she was a traitor and will always be remembered as such by anyone that took part in the Vietnam "experience". Nuff said!

When I was 8 the cocker spaniel that had been in my life for as long as my 8 year old brain could remember disappeared. Mom and dad were circumspect about the circumstances of her disappearance. To this day I don't know what happened to her but I know she was old. We lived on a 250 acre farm and it wasn't unusual for her to be out in the fields, but I suspect Dad had a hand in her disappearance.

This is Florida, my DIL's latest Pit Bull rescue. Florida is a PB/Basset hound mix. She is 3ish and has heartworms, but otherwise healthy. Her owners were going to put her down because of the cost of heartworm treatments. The vet call DIL's organization all the way from Florida and told them about her. Someone went clear down there to save her. Now she is being fostered by DIL while she finishes treatment for the heartworms, then she'll be ready for adoption. She is a real sweetheart, and she can wash your whole face with one lick of that tongue.

After the last $10 squeaky toy died in about 5 bites, I figured $2 a bite was excessive.

so might as well step up and feed her $30 R/C monster trucks instead.

We got Lizzy 9 weeks ago from a shelter and she was 72-73 pounds...........we've entertained her with toys and travel and now is only 64 curb weight wet.

Lizzy continues to get Dizzy.

These are kick butt $30 monster 2WD trucks, stout ball bearings, a-arms, coil over shocks, and metal gear diff tranny. $50 with shipping. On sale the next 6 days. a step up from radio shack Toy Grade, but still cheap enough to be disposable.

9115 Same Version GPTOYS S911 1 / 12 Scale 2WD 2.4G 4 Channel RC Car Supersonic Explorer Monster Truck Toy RC Racing Truggy Toy - EU Plug-29.89 | GearBest.com

.........and they're WAY more fun and lasts longer than a squeaky toy........tho' she's now ate a tie-rod or two. and you need to CA glue the rubber to the rims so she doesn't rip them off.

so as I tell her, DON'T EAT THE TRUCK!!!
