A good friend worked for Lockheed Martin way back when...he gave me a few tiles.
Interesting...looked and felt like 6 inch squares of Styrofoam insulation. He said that he put a torch to one side as he held it in his palm...it glowed red and he didn't feel the heat. . Amazing photos...thanks for posting.
