Ann Rule has died
I've read lots of her books. Great true crime writer. Rubbed elbows with Bundy
and the book she wrote about working with him, made her a bit famous. She was also an ex cop. RIP |

Dang! I haven't read any of her books for a few years, but did enjoy them. Her writing style just had this factual and rather gritty quality. I could always hear a bit of police reports in her writing.

Years ago, I had a few drinks with Ann Rule in a hotel bar after one of her book signings. Nice lady and we knew some people in common.
It's a real shame she was paying her 3 kids $25,000 a month to manage her affairs; and they managed to steal another $100K: Crime-writer Ann Rule
