Help ID shurbery (no Monty Python content)

I want a couple of these for the yard.
Closest I could find is a shurb named Clethra anifolia "Rosea'

That is a crepe myrtle. To the left of it is a canna.

When I learned the Latin (botanical) names of plants in college - my fellow classmates and I often used word association.

For example.....the Holly family is Aquafoliacea.....Hollies often have shiny leaves as does water (Aqua)....

For the Crepe Myrtle......Lagerstroemia indica.......we like this plant and we also like beer.....(Lager).

True story.

Crepe Myrtle.

FWIW they don't stay that size.

Very common around here.

Plenty of varieties including colors. Can be had in Red, Pink, Purple, and White.

FWIW there are dwarf varieties that stay smaller....plenty of info available online if one is interested.

Also keep in mind they are deciduous so be prepared for dropped leaves every year in the fall. I never plant them near hardscapes for that reason.
