this is a friend of mine whose daughter will die in the coming months from cancer, she is 4-

My daughter is 8, I absolutely cannot imagine that. Worst thing possible, God be with them.

I have 3. And I still remember my grandmother saying a mother should not have to bury their children. |

This my sound odd, but the video didn't make me sad at all, quite the opposite; it made me smile, made my day.

My world would end if something happened to my Daughter or Son. Unimaginable and now I choose not to consider it or I will be useless all day.

My daughter is 9. I cannot imagine being given news like this about her or my son. I know that we would do everything possible for them but still...

Hard to even imagine how/if we'd be able to handle that. Our 18 y/o daughter is starting college in the fall and is bubbling over with excitement. We forget just how fortunate we are until reading something like this. I posted another thread about our dog having bone cancer. This makes me realize that our problems aren't so bad.
Just heartbreaking beyond words. Cancer is the most evil villain on the planet.

I held my daughter in my arms when she took her last breath this past January . If it were not for my son, and wife needing me , I don't know if I could have gone on .
Time does soften it a little, but 7 months later, I still have to sit down and have a good cry every day . I feel her all around me We met a few other families who had to go through the same thing. It is a part of life that I wish I knew nothing of . God bless your friend and his family .

OP and fastfred, your posts in this thread mean more than you know. I have a 16 yr daughter and 18 yr son. Thoughts like these haunt me. I cannot even begin to imagine the reality, and the only words of encouragement I can offer is, that you are still standing and posting your pain for us to help consume. That is why we are here.
