Stepped into a time warp...

This morning, parking in the usual garage in Battery Park, Manhattan, I see a 1971 'Cuda. That would be strange enough, but to add to the strangeness, the car looked like it had been transported from the late 70's. It had wide 60 series tires on back, air shocks (or shackles to jack up the rear end) and skinny front tires. Its really unusual to see a car like this not restored to original, or at least a retromod. Setting up to be a Saturday night dragster / cruiser is unusual. I remember my '65 Mustang the same look in '74.

You don't frequent American car Car Shows huh...?

I thought you'd gotten a photo of the inside of my house and posted it. It was stuck circa '62 prior to the last 11 months of sweat equity

I was crusing between work factories this morning, picking up shipments, and I saw a small caravan of hot Mopars on a back country road. There was a really nice convertible blue/white top and interior 71 Roadrunner, a really nice 68 Superbee, and a hot looking yellow 72 Demon.....cool cars that you never see out driving around on a Thursday morning.
