This is one of my pals who is growing older but not up, as Jimmy Buffett used to say. My friends and I used to love climbing construction cranes at night and hanging banners, etc., but it's been about 30 years for me.

I will admit that the cranes everywhere in Hollywood with this latest building boom have tempted me but the whole jail thing keeps me off of them. Not this guy, though:

In his defense, he feels very passionate about Seaworld and the abuse of animals. I haven't picked up that particular cause but I'm a big animal lover and I respect him for it.

When I was a kid, working construction during the summer, a friend and I would spend our downtime at lunch building airplanes out of styrofoam and wood scraps. After work, we'd climb to the end of one of the tower cranes to launch them. Bragging rights for the furthest flight...

What I wonder is if he couldn't have hung banners / set of fireworks without getting arrested by doing so anonymously. He planned on getting busted. That's what's really silly IMHO.
