thanks marines, prevented terror attack
Thank god that two US Marines happened to be in the Thalys (high speed train) from Amsterdam to Paris. They noticed the terrorist loading and locking in the toilet and were able to overpower him when he came out. Unfortunately one Marine seems to be severely injured, but they have prevented hugh loss of live as he had an AK47, 9 magazines and an assortment of knives. With nowhere to go this could have become a huge dissaster.
My thoughts are with the brave Marine who was injured. |

No points for correctly guessing the origin or religion of the attacker... |

The bad guy is from Morocco, a predominantly muslim country. I'm going to guess he is a follower of the religion of peace. Shame the marines didn't eliminate the garbage from the gene pool on the spot.

I love our men / woman in uniform.
|
Thanks marines. Impressive.
|
Amen. ^^^
We recently toured West Point and were escorted around by a sophomore cadet, and met several others during our visit. Smart, courteous, humble, fit- just all around an amazing group of young men. There is hope for this country yet. |
God Bless our armed forces!!!
|
Bloody impressive.
I wonder how many lives those young marines just saved on that train. 50?, 100? More? |
|
Saving the French, even in France!

Viva la marine

Booyah Marines!
I think our boys in the Corps have had their fill after that sneak attack on unarmed USMC recruiters in Tenn. No more make nice. |

Great story and result... We really need to kick some more "goals" like this.
When are we going to stop playing and get serious with these criminals? Enough already! |

Arras is only a few miles from the belgian border and with the train going at up to 200mph speeds, it is more likely the attack happened on belgian soil. But that is all inmaterial. The train originating from Amsterdam also made stops in rotterdam, antwerpen and brussels (where the badguy got on). I am only glad it turned out this way and the marine was not mortally wounded.

His uniform is US Army. Other article from the daily mail in the UK said Skarlatos is a U.S. National Guard member. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...a52ad34d60.jpg |

Ohhh BTW there will be NO MORE LIBERALS nor CIVIL RIGHTS, nor HUMAN RIGHTS just the Laws Of Allah as imposed by the Sharia. The Liberals will either be singing out Allah Akbar when going to the Mosque 3 times a day or they will be DEAD, DEAD, DEAD. Every person in the West, Liberal or otherwise should read the history about just how peaceful the religion of "peace" really is. |

Now tell me it ain't so that Barrack's lineage did not include SLAVE TRADERS. |
Don't PARF it up. Go start a thread there.

These guys definitely are my sort of hero.
|
Great guys but no Marines in that group. One Air Force, one Army NG and one civilian.
|
|
Awesome!
Lots of bravery here - I hope the guy that was injured makes a full recovery and they both get commendations! |
There are lots of videos now...

Though wish they had permanently maimed the scumbag. This way, he'd be suffering while in prison. |
All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. This is literally just the sort of thing that US Marines were created to do. Takes some big brass balls to charge a guy with an AK with your bare hands.

Sure enough, here's one of them saying basically the same thing:

When I was their age and traveling around France, I always stayed in youth hostels to save money. I imagine they might soon find themselves in much nicer lodgings for a lot less money.

I like how the French train employee was running away from the attacker while the American kids jumped in immediately and kicked the sh it out of the attacker.

Give the old Brit a bit of credit as well. He may not have been first to the fight but he got their backs. |
All three men have ties to Sacramento. Two of the three originally from Carmichael...
