27 or 87 which would YOU choose?

From a FB friend:

If you could, which would you choose?

Live to 87 with an OK life, same basic job and friends, not much excitement.

Live to 27 but with excitement, adventure, and "anything goes" attitude.

ME>27

You didn't define family.

With wife and kids - 87
If I would have no family - 27

I want to see my kids grow up, and meet my grandchildren.

I think they call that Darwinism....
Bad choices that lead to your own demise.

With the limited info, I'm going with 27.

But, life can be rich and fulfilling without being James Dean or Jimi Hendrix. I guess the reason that I chose 27 was being it said "OK life". I may not be a millionaire playboy, but I think my life is much, much better than just "OK".

27.....seriously?
I'll shoot for 87. 27 was 35 years ago. A lot of boring stuff has happened since I turned 27.:D

Flawed survey.

A 27 year old hasn't lived long enough to carry my water.

Both

I was convinced I would not make 25 so acted accordingly.

I'm 51 now and my body feels like it's 87.

Had I known I'd make it this long I would have definitely taken better care of myself.

105 with excitement, adventure, and "anything goes" attitude My dad is 87 with several Girl friends ...The youngest is 63

I am way closer to 87 than 27. I have no regrets. No way I want a life like some charterers in the movies of wild exploits and only live for 27 short years. I have lived over twice that long and life is too short already. I have good health and a very comfortable life. I want another 87 years of comfort.

strupgolf 08-24-2015 07:29 PM

Give me 87 years with my honey, bar none.

Tobra 08-24-2015 07:56 PM

If I live to be 87, I see my grandchildren become men and women, at 27, I never see my kids grow up.

Are you kidding me with this?

ckissick 08-24-2015 08:03 PM

I did the excitement route right up until I went to graduate school. At age 27.

Then I settled down and am doing the "not much excitement" lifestyle. Just a wife and kids with a tolerable job.

Guess what? Life after 27 has been far better than the life before. I plan on going skiing on my 87 birthday. And my 90th, etc.

If those here who picked 27 really believe that, it's not too late. Go buy some blow, some hookers, and a wing suit and have at it.

SpyderMike 08-24-2015 08:54 PM

87...because you don't know sh$t at 27.

Bill Douglas 08-24-2015 09:10 PM

87 At different stages of your life you value things differently. At 87 you can have huge pleasure having a coffee at your favorite cafe with your favorite people. Almost the same level of happiness that you would get in your 20's from scoring a drunk Swedish girl at a naked beach party.

ckelly78z 08-25-2015 02:55 AM

To live to be 87 and have a full life of family and friends and laughter sounds good to me. Living a self indulgent, existence to only 27 sounds like a tragedy.
